Pesto Summer Caprese

A fresh, no-fuss twist on the classic caprese. Juicy heirloom tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and a bold drizzle of Besto come together for the perfect summer appetizer. Finished with olive oil, balsamic glaze, and fresh basil — it’s cool, vibrant, and made to impress on hot days.

Ingredients:

  • 6–7 large heirloom tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 lbs fresh mozzarella, sliced or torn
  • ½ cup Besto
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. On a large platter or board, layer the tomato and mozzarella slices in an overlapping pattern.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  3. Spoon Besto generously across the top — in dollops or drizzled.
  4. Finish with a sprinkle of sea salt and freshly cracked pepper.
  5. Serve immediately and watch it disappear.
