Besto Brings the Sunshine to the Port Jefferson Farmer's Market 🌻

This past Sunday was one for the books—Besto made its way to the Port Jefferson Farmer’s Market in Long Island, and we SOLD OUT of every single jar in just two hours!

The day started bright and early (well, dark and early, really) with a 6 AM train out of Manhattan, a suitcase packed to the brim with jars of Besto by my side. We partnered with Join the Tryb and by the time we set up our little booth, the market was buzzing, and it didn’t take long for the pesto magic to happen.

We served up samples on crunchy potato chips, and the reactions were priceless. One new “bestie” told us Besto was “happiness in a jar,” which absolutely made my day. Even those without allergies loved Besto for its clean-ingredient, bright taste—and of course, the foodies couldn’t stop raving about it, calling it the best store-bought pesto they’ve ever tried.

We met so many new faces—families, market wanderers, and even fellow vendors who stopped by for a taste. Seeing everyone light up after their first bite reminded me why I started Besto in the first place—to share fresh, allergen-friendly pesto with as many people as possible.

For our Long Island community of besties, we’re not stopping there! We’ll be doing in-store samples at Rising Tide Natural Market in Glen Cove, New York on Friday, August 8th from 1–4 PM. Come by, grab a sample, and shop Besto locally at Rising Tide!
